I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Google (Sydney) in Feb 2016
Interview
Very disjointed and not what I expected to experience from such a large enterprise such as Google. It was like they hadn't even reviewed the information that I'd submitted online. I had provided a detailed CV and covering letter and based on the screening questions it seemed like they had not bothered to read any of it.
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
