I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Feb 2015
Interview
Mundane, very little questioning about technical abilities. Heavily focused on fit/culture based questions as well as questions pertaining to previous experiences and education. Would not say that interview was overly difficult.
Pretty structured and standard process, got asked expected questions. Balance of questions on attainment, performance and behavioral. Each of my interviewers as well as HR were organized and professional. The process ran smoothly over around 5 weeks.
4 rounds that involved 2 introductions to management and 2 introductions to your team. Very conversational and professional with some added questions about the specific vertical I was applying for.
