I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google
Interview
I just had my first phone screen and don't know the result yet. Basically standard PMP answers are expected. Questions I was asked are project stages, project constraints (hinted by golden triangle), project closure and critical path. I frankly stated I am not familiar with PMP terms and will answer according to my work experience. After two questions I was told to give short answers so I am not optimistic to my result when PMP standard answers are expected. I learned from this forum so hopefully my sharing will help some who are interested in Google TPM job.

Question 1
If you're familiar with PMP, it is an easy interview.
Good interviewers that ask a lot of questions to gauge your domain knowledge. Do not feel daunted because they just need to know your thought process. Speak more and out loud. Think out loud.
Two process interview. was not clear. first interview with recruiter which thought it will go well. second with Hiring manager which was not clear what was asked or needed. Not sure why went through this.

I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Amsterdam) in May 2026
Interview
had first interview with recruiter - she was nice. thought that I was the right person for the job. Second interview with manager from the US. was less good. felt like the main reason for the interview was to hire a similar person to the person who was interviewing. we talked at night (for me) and was 30 min over the interview allocated time, but the morning after I got a rejection call.
