A few weeks ago, I received a call from Google for an interview for the role of Janitor. Excited and a bit intimidated (I mean, it’s Google!), I prepared myself for what could be a very thorough and unique interview process.
Round 1: Phone Screening The recruiter asked some basic questions like:
“Why do you want to be a janitor at Google?”
“Can you tell me about a time when you had to solve a problem under pressure?”
I gave an example of how I once unclogged a sink during a high-stakes office party without anyone noticing. They seemed impressed.

Smooth and easy! Interview was quick and straight to the point. Would recommend it to others. Have no other comments to add. Would only confirm that it was telephone interview
CV sent in. Phone interview, then in person interview. Waited about a week, then got a phone call, followed up with email confirming offer of employment. Started two weeks later.
