Google uses third party recruiters instead of in house staff. The recruiters were less knowledgeable than other FAANG level companies. The interview does not involve any domain knowledge. Passed the alogithms portion but they wanted to offer an entry level L3 position instead of the L5 we agreed to initially. They did a downlevel bait and switch tactic. One interviewer showed up in her pajamas.
