Google (Senior) Software Engineer interview questions

I was contacted by the recruiting team. They were very helpful and detailed in the process and set up a phone interview. The interview was a typical coding round on google docs. The question asked however was absurd. I was given 15 mins to come up with the mathematical formula for magic squares and then implement the solution
