I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
It was an exhausting process, had a total of 6 rounds. One telephonic and 5 virtual on-site interviews. One interviewer was highly condescending and not a good listener, he had a very heavy French accent and I don't think he realized how difficult to comprehend his English was. It was perhaps a stress interview? But maybe just the demeanor of the the panel. I was likely to rescind my application after the first interview, as cultural fitment is super important to me. The other 5 were in the range of very pleasant to formal, but all very polite.
