Interview Process:
The interview process started smoothly with HR reaching out, followed by a screening and then a conversation with the hiring manager. However, I found it surprising that no technical questions were asked at any stage — especially for a senior engineering role.
After the final interview, I followed up twice — once after two weeks and again after a month — but received no reply. Several months later, I got an automated rejection email.
Overall Impression:
It was disappointing to go through a multi-stage process without any technical evaluation and then be met with complete silence. Respecting candidates’ time and offering timely feedback should be a minimum standard.
Advice to the Company:
If you're hiring for technical roles, ask technical questions. And more importantly, communicate clearly — ghosting candidates after interviews is unprofessional and reflects poorly on your employer brand.
