My interview experience at IBM was overall positive. The process was structured and professional, with interviewers who were friendly and asked relevant, thought-provoking questions. It provided a great learning opportunity and insight into the company's culture.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the key questions they asked me was about how I handled a challenging situation in a past project and what steps I took to resolve it effectively. They were keen to understand my problem-solving and decision-making approach.

Got a link to a platform where you were asked to answer a series of questions. The answers had to be recorded, every answer was supposed to be answered in less than 3 minutes. Beforehand, the advice was given to prepare using the STAR framework.
Important: once started, you can only interrupt the process once, since they don't want you to have unlimited preparation time for the answers. If it gets interrupted (e.g. due to network connectivity or by closing the tab) a second time, the process is stopped and your interview is basically aborted.

Zuerst tauschen wir uns über die gegenseitigen Erwartungen aus. Danach besprechen wir konkrete Situationen aus meiner bisherigen Arbeit im Banking-Sektor, zum Beispiel wie ich Herausforderungen gelöst habe. Mir ist ein ehrlicher Austausch wichtig, damit beide Seiten sehen, ob die Zusammenarbeit passt.
