I applied in-person. I interviewed at Infineon Technologies (München, Bayern)
Interview
The interviewer was really pleasant and easy-going. Gained good insight about job. More about personal connections that just job description. The interview was about 1h long. Talked about the techstack and the project presentation too.
"Your resume says 'expert in object detection.' Walk me through the most challenging detection bug you debugged, including the exact code you wrote to fix it."
Two rounds, both technical. One with a manager, one with a 'mentor' engineer. Not terribly difficult questions, mostly ask about the details of your projects and go deeper. Very impersonal, didn't see their faces and they didn't introduce themselves.
