I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Infosys (Chennai) in Jun 2025
Interview
I was initially selected for the Systems Engineer role during campus recruitment. Later, I got the opportunity to participate in an upgradation program conducted by Infosys, which evaluated candidates for the SP and DSE role.
The upgradation program assessed our DSA knowledge, including problem-solving skills, coding ability, and core CS concepts. Those who cleared the evaluation were shortlisted for the DSE interview round.
After around two months of being shortlisted, I attended my interview in Chennai. The interview was conducted in a single round and covered:
1. General Introduction – A brief self-introduction and discussion about my background.
2. Basic Programming Concepts – Core logic-building questions and syntax knowledge.
3. DSA Questions – Data Structures & Algorithms concepts, with a focus on problem-solving.
4. Coding Round in the Interview – Writing small to medium-level code snippets to solve given problems.
5. Basic Front-End Questions – HTML/CSS fundamentals and simple UI-related queries.
6. Database & SQL – Core queries, basic joins, and differences between common SQL commands.
7. Project Discussion – Detailed explanation of projects I had done, particularly those demonstrating coding and technical problem-solving skills.
8. Resume-Based Questions – Questions from my areas of interest and skills mentioned in the resume.
