Intel Corporation Engineering interview questions

Got a mail from one of the team members for a phone interview. Interview consisted of questions about my projects that were related to the job. Then got a call from the hiring manager asking for references. Within a week I got an offer. They asked me to take a drug test and background check was done.

There was an opening, but no one was really interested in filling the position with a really qualified candidate.
