2 on 1 interview for first round with an associate and a VP - got an email second-to-last week of January and had the interview last week of January; straightforward but was caught offguard with the difficulty of FIG questions

Process was organized. The conversation was fast-paced but conversational, reflecting the culture of Sales & Trading. Interviewer focused on market knowledge, behavioral questions, and a little technical understanding of equities and macro trends. They were clearly assessing both technical competence and personality fit, especially comfort with high-pressure environments and strong communication skills.
