I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at KPMG (Kuala Lumpur) in Oct 2013
Interview
Computer test (mathematics and rational test, if I was not mistaken as it has been few years) and then an interview with a Manager. Interview process may vary based on location. Computer test is not about filling in as much as we can during the limited duration but trying to get the correct answers. So don't waste your time by answering questions in a rush. An experienced hire (with past job experience prior joining KPMG) can negotiate salary with HR, but to an extent as KPMG Malaysia has a salary range so need to work around those figures.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Past working experience, the 'Strength and Weakness' question and a situational question. Other colleagues who were interviewing for Senior Associate and Assistant Manager position were required to demonstrate their understandings via white board and required to seat for additional interview session with Team Lead/ Director.
Two rounds of technical interview and then HR communication
Audit base question
Previous experience
Basic Audit related scenario questions
The process took 5 days. Selected communication in 30 days
Result selectef
With one manager and one director, both behavioural and technical questions were asked, still manageable I think, and can prepare beforehand on resume base on the experiences, need to be familiar enough
I had two rounds of interview with a hiring manager or the Director. The questions were more behavioural based. It was a well paced interview process, following which I received an offer.
