I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at KPMG (Winston-Salem, NC) in Sep 2010
Interview
KPMG threw the entire accounting program a incredible social, topping those of many of the other Big 4. The point of the social was to mix and mingle with the upper level employees who would be giving the interview the following day, so as to ease the tensions of the interview process. What resulted was a scavenger hunt with the students split up into teams, each team led by KPMG 1 employee. Despite common the stereotype depicting accountants as up-tight individuals, the event was both relaxing and enjoyable. The following day my 45 minute interview was fairly comfortable and fluid, and I have yet to hear back from them (the deadline is tomorrow). Throughout the process it seemed that the individuals really cared about their firm and enjoyed their jobs, something that was difficult to detect in the other Big 4.
Easy going and straight foward a good combination between technical skills and behavioral question. Some of the queestion related to accounting and audit question and some related to our attitude
I applied online. I interviewed at KPMG (Bengaluru)
Interview
It was average. General accounting terms. Foundation level. Interviewer are supportive.
First was a online test then technical round, the HR round was Salary discussion. Delay inbetween rounds and HR will ignore calls.
it was okayish, interviewed one-to-one with the audit manager, she's friendly and approachable and she asked quite few questions on audit, it was okayish, interviewed one-to-one with the audit manager, she's friendly and approachable and she asked quite few questions on audit
