I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Westland, MI)
Interview
I got offered an interview about three days after putting in an application. it took me to an online website where i could pick a date to set up and interview. there were no dates to choose from so i waited a week to see if there were any choices that popped up. after a week of nothing i decide to call them and see if their recruiter was in store. she was never there. when i went in to do some shopping i asked an employee do you know when your recruiter is here and she said “like never” i applied to one more position to see if the recruiter mistakingly just didn't give me a date for the interview. after three more weeks i got declined for both applications after calling them store multiple times. they had hiring posters all over the store making it seem like they really needed workers. i had plenty of retail experience and especially grocery store experience. it was an absolutely awful experience.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger (Cincinnati, OH) in Mar 2025
Interview
It was pretty short and quick. The HR there (Erin) was very understands and showed a lot of respect. It was more or less the people I worked with other than management that made me leave.
