I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Houston, TX) in Jul 2019
Interview
As a meat clerk you will need to stock and condition department regularly, and work on lunchmeat. Depending if you open or close the department these tasks may change. If you open it's going to be more fast paced with a heavier workload and if you close the department must be left clean and well conditioned.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Detroit, MI)
Interview
Very laid back no issues. They asked the basics
Where do you see yourself in x years?
Are you willing to work holidays?
And then proceeded to tell me I had the job and look for an email.
One phone interview and one in-person interview of mostly cut and dry questions about things like your transportation, desired salary, how long you want to work there, etc. I was offered a job at the end of the interview.
