I applied online. I interviewed at LG Electronics in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process was professional and well-structured. The interviewers asked about my background, experience, and understanding of the role, while also giving me the opportunity to ask questions about the company and position.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at LG Electronics (Australind) in Mar 2026
Interview
I had a very disappointing interview experience with LG Electronics Australia.
During the interview, I was asked inappropriate personal questions including my military service status, marital status, and detailed visa situation. The overall tone of the interview felt highly unprofessional and disrespectful. At one point, I was even told that my Korean language skills “didn’t seem good enough,” despite being Korean, which felt unnecessary and quite insulting.
Instead of feeling like a professional interview, the atmosphere often felt sarcastic and confrontational. I genuinely could not understand whether they wanted to assess my experience or simply challenge and belittle me throughout the conversation.
I had been a loyal LG customer for many years, but after this experience, I honestly no longer feel comfortable supporting the brand.
The process itself was also extremely disorganised. On the day of the interview, I was informed that the HR representative had resigned, yet there appeared to be no proper handover or coordination in place. Communication afterwards was extremely poor — follow-ups were ignored and no proper update or closure was provided.
Overall, it was one of the most uncomfortable and disrespectful interview experiences I have had.

Question 1
They asked several personal and inappropriate questions during the interview, including about my military service, marital status, and visa situation. One comment that stood out was when they said I “didn’t seem to speak Korean very well,” despite me being Korean, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional in the context of the interview. Also very sudden 25x4=100?? Still don’t understand what they check for this obvious and simple question
