Tell me about a time you were challenged and how you came up with a solution.
The Lockheed Martin interview process is a structured and multi-stage evaluation designed to assess a candidate's qualifications and fit for a specific role. It typically commences with the submission of an application through their official career portal, followed by a thorough review of the applicant's resume. If the qualifications align with the job requirements, candidates may undergo a phone screening, where basic information about their background and interest in the role is gathered. Depending on the position, there may be additional assessments, such as technical tests or skills evaluations. Subsequently, candidates progress to face-to-face interviews, which may include behavioral assessments, technical discussions, and potentially panel interviews for higher-level roles. Reference checks and background checks are also part of the process. It's important to note that specific details may vary based on the position and location, and candidates are encouraged to refer to Lockheed Martin's official channels for the most current information.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX) in Dec 2022
Interview
After applying online, I received a few emails indicating my application was "progressing". Then after two weeks, I received an email to schedule an interview. The interview was one 30-minute phone call with my future manager. There were no technical questions. I was only asked to describe some specific experiences I had listed on my resume. I received an offer a few days later.
