I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2014
Interview
Since I was already working at Lockheed Martin I was able to see who the job posting was issued by. I contacted the Manager and asked a few questions to see if I was a good fit for the position. My manager did the same for me as well. I was brought in for an interview, and then asked to apply immediately following the interview. I was extended an offer within 2 weeks and started 3 weeks later.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Jan 2014
Interview
It was great! They provided travel and hotel reimbursement, a tour of the facility, lunch, and the people there were amazing (Needless to say, I got the job). I was interviewed by 4 different people (it's normally 3, but they thought I might be suited better for a different position). Every interviewer was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. I was given an official offer within the following month (they say they'll let you know within a week, but were quite later than a week which was somewhat nerve-racking).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Whenever they ask about a failure, but even that's not so bad. So long as your brushed up on what you've actually done so far in life and what typical interview questions are, you'll do fine!
I applied online. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX) in Oct 2014
Interview
I was invited to the aeronautical hiring event in Fort Worth. This was a half day event where you there was a panel for Q&A, two presentations, and an hour long interview. They told you that there was a possibility that the hiring managers were hiring people that day. The interview was behavioral based, but the interviewer was very relaxed and just wanted to get to know you as a person. After that I was called at noon and told another manager wanted to interview me. Everything was very nice. I never heard back from them, and was told I would hear back in a week at most.
