I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Fort Worth, TX)
Interview
I had an employee referral. I applied online and heard back about one month after applying. I got a call and email saying that their was a hiring event and that I was invited to interview. They flew me out and the hiring event was pretty intense. They had a huge room full of hiring managers behind tables and I had to interview with about 50 other interviews going on around me. It was pretty difficult to concentrate on their questions when everyone was pretty much yelling around us. It lasted around 45 minutes and they said I should be hearing back within one to two weeks. I ended up getting a call about an hour after I left saying I had received an offer.

Question 1
How would you go about communicating with another department that wasn't on the same page as you?
I applied online, got back from HR within 1-2 months. Straight to on site interview. But sometimes they will have HR call you first to do the screening questions, for example, are you US citizen? I got a pre-employment form after 30 minutes of the interview.

Question 1
Majority interview questions are behavioral and your school/project works.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied for an Electronics Engineer position, and three months later I received an initial phone call with the recruiter to discuss about my background. The recruiter went ahead and forwarded my resume over to the hiring manager which an on-site interview took place two weeks later. At the on-site interview, all of the questions were mostly behavioral scenarios. It has been a month now, and I am still waiting for a decision to be made. The only advice I can give if you get an interview is to be patient with Lockheed Martin's process as there are many candidates to filter out, and there are budgets that need to be in consideration.

Question 1
Nothing difficult nor unexpected. The hiring manager was very comfortable to begin with so it felt like a normal conversation.
