I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin
Interview
Lockheed Martin provided me with an excellent opportunity of a Summer Internship for four summers. Upon my graduation with my MS EE they offered me a job that was significantly lower than other defense contractors at the time. I was very interested in working for them because I enjoyed the work, the people and the location, unfortunately when I asked them to consider other offers I had received from similar defense contractors they said there was nothing they could do. My next request was simply to tell me which job I would be doing (since as an intern I had done a number of different positions, some better than others). Again they stated they could not tell me specifics which job I would be assigned. Since another contractor offered almost 20% more, provided me with a detailed job description and was in a similar cost of living area I chose a different employer. Being raised to be faithful to my employer it was a very difficult decision, however as I look back upon it now, the company with whom I am presently employed has been more than generous and I love my job!
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Orlando, FL) in Aug 2013
Interview
I applied online for an human resources position in Orlando, FL. I only applied for the position because it said possible relocation, but when I received a phone interview, they told me otherwise.
They paid for all expenses of the interview, which was great. The interview its self was ok. I interviewed with two different people who were already current HR professionals. There were very basic questions, but the first person I interviewed with was trying to fix her computer while interviewing me. She didn't seem to interested in the interview at all.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
More important accomplishment, why do you want to work for us. Very basic questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Grand Prairie, TX) in Sep 2012
Interview
I was forwarded the name of the contract house listing the open position, DCR Workforce, sent my resume and received a call from the hiring manager. I was interviewed by two people and was offered the job over the phone during the initial call. The start date was delayed by a week because they were not ready for some reason.
