I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Grand Prairie, TX) in Jan 2011
Interview
I applied online, took a month after that to get a call. I had several interviews, phone with someone in FL, panel on site in Grand Prairie, then another individual interview later. I was told up front the hiring process would be long.
Seems like a great company to work for, everyone has been there several years and enjoys it. Lots of opps to move around because it has several business units.

Question 1
Describe a time you had to convince someone of your idea.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Feb 2011
Interview
I met the recruiters at a career fair at BYU. There were hundreds of students there but what made my resume stick out was the fact that I made it specifically for Lockheed. I'm only a sophomore in college but the fact that I'm proficient in CAD systems and I can fly r/c and real airplanes made me stick out. After reviewing my information, they called me later that day and scheduled an interview for the next morning. I was surprised to find that there weren't any technical questions asked in my first interview. The interview was conducted by an employee who wasn't even an engineer, but he took note on ever answer I gave him. They asked all sorts of behavioral questions. It seemed the main thing he was looking for was a positive and outgoing personality. They've recently contacted me and they said they want me to apply for some positions. If going into engineering, I would suggest to try having a personality. Show that you're not just a calculator.

Question 1
Tell me of a time that you had to resolve a conflict with team members and how did you do it?
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Davis, CA) in Feb 2011
Interview
Very basic behavioral questions. The interviewers were not recruiters but actual people who worked there. I don't know how helpful it actually was but they said they would take notes down and upload it to their system. So if you apply, they have additional information on you already. They told me to apply online.. but they told that to everyone..
