Interview
Received an email from a recruiter about 3 weeks after applying online. Had a phone interview with two managers and then an in person interview shortly after. That part went great and I was really interested in the job. Mantech made an offer and then rescinded the same day because they did not want to negotiate on paid time off. They offered 14 days to start, which is far less than I receive now. Mantech also wanted me to commit to the job and not consider any other offers while they waited on their customer to process a background investigation, which would have taken months. I offered two months of commitment in exchange for more time off. My skill set is hard to find and with a high level security clearance I do receive multiple unsolicited offers every week. I'm not willing to sit around and wait for free on contingent offers when someone else might have a vacant funded position that can start within a normal two week time period.

Question 1
Nothing difficult. Basically just confirmed my background on my resume. My work role is highly technical and most places don't have the technical staff on hand to ask hard questions.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at MANTECH (Herndon, VA) in Feb 2013
Interview
Interviewed with VP, HR , BU General Managers, and President. All were very well prepared and on same page with responsibilities of role. Well defined goals and initiatives of role.
