I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company in Apr 2008
Interview
There was a very good and planned communication since the beginning.
There were two days interviews:
1st was in London, with 2 Managers, 1 Director, 1 Partner.
Each interview lasted 1 hour, divided in 30 mins get to know CV and aspirations and 30 minutes Business cases.
2nd interview was in Milan, with 2 partners, same procedure as above.
People were very friendly, except 1 EM, who was quite sharp in his statements and requested deeper analysis.
However it was Friday, so people back to the office are more relaxed and not in the typical aggressive / I will stub you in the back mood
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How much will it take for Airbus A380 to payback its initial investment
A recent manufacturer is experiencing an aggressive entrance of competitors. Should he change its technology, people, procedures, or? What are his best options?
2 interviews back-to-back in-person. Cases weren't super hard but you definitely need to prepare a lot beforehand to navigate the curveballs and be able to function under high stress. Expect difficult industries and focus on PEI which is half as important.

Question 1
Tell me about a challenge situation that you faced in detail (expect to be interruped because they will go deep into the story, make it memorable and interesting)
