I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Meraki (London, England)
Interview
Applied on their website. Got email to arrange a phone interview the same day which was impressive. Telephone interview was rearranged two to three times but finally had one which went well. Questions around experience etc.
Invited for a face to face interview week after.
The office is good and gives a feel of Google-like. Met three people one after the other for 30 mins each which was tiring as all asked same kind of questions.
The most disappointing was the first interview with one of the ladies who claims to be an HR. She was not at all welcoming and just walked with me to the interview room murmuring something that I cannot even hear. She thought she was showing me the office which was not the case as can't hear her.
We went in the interview room and she sat with her computer writing notes but the way she asked questions was not at all engaging as clearly she was just reading them and writing my answers. It didn't seemed an interview at all. She sounded as if she was scared that if someone comes in more qualified then her then her job will be gone. I've never had such a bad candidate interview experience.
I blame her for ruining my interview as I was so put off that didn't really wanted to complete the interview. Other interviewers were nice and friendly.
I bet that if she continues to take interviews then meraki will loose on good candidates.

Question 1
Tell me a time you had a disagreement with your boss?
I get it, every company has their protocols & processes buy what i extremely detest about the whole experience is the email tagging 3-4 days worth before a time & day is secured for just a phone intvw. Than the whole tagging starts again for the 'feedback' phone convo which was to only let me know i wasnt going to move forward in the process. Boy, the girl - sales recruiter chic (does exactly what gives recruiters a bad rep) can not be responsive if her life depends on it. She doesnt return calls or emails let alone in a timely manner until your availability is no longer available for the oh just a crappy phone intvw with her. She prides in the concept of great candidate experience, but its just that, conceptual and not in practice. If she continues to be first contact for the company's sales recruitment, i will bet there's not much hiring going to happen.
