I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz International (Toronto, ON)
Interview
1. Phone Interview
2. In-Person Interview
I think you can judge a place by not only how you are treated during the interview process but more importantly how you are treated afterwards.
I have interviewed at several automotive companies and this was by far the most disappointing. The initial things that I noticed was that no one seemed to be happy or optimistic from HR to reception.
The actual in-person interview was very unprofessional. The interviewers seemed very unprepared. They did not prepare any questions in advance, were very low energy, did not take any notes, had no idea what the next steps in the process and one of the interviewers did not even make eye contact with me during the entire interview (stared out the glass).
I thought perhaps their strange behaviour was a 'test' because I had heard they make you write a PPA test to see how you handle pressure, but even after my follow ups I did not receive any emails thanking me for my time or that they were going in another direction. They kept you in the dark.
Overall, I was very disappointed and although I was not offered a position I would not have accepted if I was. I think while going through any job search, it is important for you to find the right fit for YOU. Don't just land somewhere because of the name. In the long run you will regret it.

Interview
The interviewer sat me down with the hiring manager and an HR member. They asked very basic questions like how you handle challenges, time management, stress, ambiguous situations. Overall a pretty basic interview and they ask you about past experiences.
