Got a call back during early February, Did the OA which was fairly easy.
Moved onto the Coding Onsite Interview round in the following week.
Since Meta was close to their hiring cutoff period, what normally takes 3 months was to be wrapped up in under a month.
Coding round went well. Followed by the Networking interview, which for some reason the interviewer wasn't available so the interview had to be pushed back by 3 weeks.
Gave the final round in the first week of March, got a reject few days later
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Networking was solely focused on Layer 2
TCP/IP, OSPF, DHCP, and few other protocols.
The opening question was what is your favorite L2-L3 protocol. Then slowly build the questions around this, threw in negative scenarios as well
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2025
Interview
Really good interview process. Really efficient and the recruiters are really helpful. They will help you prepare for the interview and give you sufficient time and materials to prepare for it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you can solve medium level leetcode in 20 mins you'll be fine.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Dublin, Dublin) in Nov 2024
Interview
A very nice interviewing experience, where the entire team was nice, giving fast replies and always answering questions. As the interview it self there were two coding questions of average difficulty, I can't say what problems there were.
