Microsoft Researcher (Intern) interview questions

I had a phone call and discussion with my prospective mentor about potential projects that suited my skillset and expertise. We then discussed various approaches towards solving certain technical challenges.

Open Source contribution to a GitHub repository with a minimum of 100 stars. Only coding contribution not cleaning/ changing documentation. Then after the submission you get called for an interview to present your solution to the open source problem and in turn explain how you did it under whose mentorship in how much time.
