I applied online. I interviewed at Motorola Solutions in Apr 2017
Interview
Great Human Resources team, precise and prompt.
However, the next stage comes (came?) with challenges. A telephonic interview. The hiring manager in Chicago called late, the first red flag, and then presented with a curt, strange and strong accent, with poor spoken and communication skills, the questions were not clear, so I ended up repeating, paraphrasing his questions which was an odd challenge. A 30-minute discussion ended up in an hour. The next panel conversation was much better.
All interviewees must realize Motorola is terribly slow, and runs with an enormous red-tape, so be ready to get gray by the time you come to the acceptance.

Question 1
Prior projects, What will you do in the new org. Basic, ungrasped Project Management questions.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Motorola Solutions (Schaumburg, IL) in Apr 2016
Interview
Applied for the position online and about five days later received a phone call to set up a phone interview for later that day. The gentleman called back with 3 other people in the room so it was a group panel phone interview. The interview lasted about an hour and consisted of each person asking questions about my resume and my project management experience. The questions were easy to answer and one interviewer even stated that there was no question that I have "this project management thing down". I asked questions about what a resource would need to know and do to succeed in the role and the main guy fumbled over his answer and basically just read the job description back to me. I asked if all candidates would be contacted whether they got the job or not and he told me yes, however I have not heard anything in weeks so I am guessing I won't be moving on to the next step in the interview process.

What is one thing that Motorola has created that you are impressed with?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Motorola Solutions (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
Interview was with three people at different times. Good questions about background and how to handle different situations. Focus was on managing customers under difficult circumstances. I had phone interviews first and then was flown out for face to face meetings. Met with peers and hiring manager. Had to submit to a background check and drug test since the job was for public safety customers.
