I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Moz (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2020
Interview
First round was a call with a recruiter where he described the company and the culture. Next up was a coding session with one of their senior developers. It was very relaxed and low pressure, like working with a peer. Then there was a series of 5 back to back interviews with various other Moz employees, each with a different focus (ie, system design, coding, project management style, etc). It was all very relaxed and was a great experience overall.
Although I ended up not taking the job due to another opportunity popping up, based on my experience with this interview process and speaking with the team at Moz I would not hesitate to apply again in the future.

I applied online. I interviewed at Moz (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2020
Interview
The initial interview call lasted around 45 min with a long-winded recruiter, he went into granular detail about the company and it seems like an awesome place to work. Then was moved to a first-round screen where you did a pairing challenge. The interview itself was a good experience but I haven't received any feedback in a month. Obviously it wasn't a fit but at least have the decency to follow up with the candidates you schedule who are taking time out of their day to provide them feedback. I had reached out several times just to get some closure and no one has ever responded. That being said I wouldn't recommend this place based on the fact that you can't even get a simple yes or no email back from the team.
We apologize for the lack of response to your interview. We try to follow up with all candidates in a timely manner following their interview. Unfortunately, this did not happen in your case and we will try to be better in the future.

Interview
My process was really pleasant. For a small company I was shocked that I heard back as quickly as I did. I had a total four interviews, with one being a half day process with several leaders including the CMO!
