N26 Senior Backend Engineer interview questions

Advice to whoever is applying for Java developer position : do not apply if you think you are good at what you do, but do not know how to implement a code on the fly in stream. They will want the answer they have in their mind for you to pass. N26 : You shouldn't be rejecting people because they can't implement a logic in streams on the fly. If a person knows about JAVA8 features and how to use it, given time a person can get used to it. There are many ways to solve a particular problem.

After I applied the senior backend engineer position, I got an email one month later from automatic HR Robot, then I set up a meeting with HR guy, it worked well and the interview really straightforward and nice. After that he sent me an coding challenge and gave 3 days to complete. Task is not challenging, basically create an endpoint to get transcations in last minute via O(1) complexity and do not store any transaction. I completed it and submit to the system. After that I ghosted, I did not hear from N26 HR anything neither positive nor negative, even if I sent a kind mail asking for the feedback.
