I found the opportunity during a web search. I reached out a former colleague who has a friend who works at PTC. After getting referred, a recruiter contacted me a few days later via e-mail. The e-mail was only very short, asking if I was willing to relocate. I responded my enthusiasm to relocate and also said I was from originally from the area. I did not receive a response until the next day, where the recruiter asked about my availability. I responded with my availability and I did not hear anything. The next day I received a call from the recruiter, but since I was not expecting the call, I missed it (I work in a secure facility with a strict "no handheld device"). I returned his call and sent him an e-mail explaining the lack of scheduling and the device restrictions. He e-mailed and asked me my availability for the next day. I responded with my availability for the rest of the week. I did not hear from the recruiter for about a week. He asked my availability for the day, which I responded that I was available for the rest of the day. After not hearing from the recruiter, I lost interest. If I am interviewing for an executive level opportunity and I was referred by someone, this behavior is indicative of the recruitment team's inefficacy.
