I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Publix
Interview
It was fairly quick because I knew someone that worked there. I spoke to the store manager and convinced him to give me a one-on-one interview with the grocery manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my experience and work preferences. I don't remember the specifics, but nothing too difficult. Discussing work availability was tough because they put you on the spot. As long as you are confident and can present some valuable work experience/skills, you should be good to go.
You may get something like:
Describe your prior experience.
What made you choose Publix?
Are you comfortable bending, kneeling, walking, etc?
Can you work weekends and nights?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Publix (Taylors, SC) in Sep 2019
Interview
Walked in and asked for an interview after putting in application, came in for interview the next day, got offered job on spot. I was drug tested on the spot and began working at this location a couple of weeks later after background check came in
