I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Publix (Valdosta, GA) in Mar 2014
Interview
They asked me a lot of straight forward questions about my experience and availability. They then just spent the rest of the time asking me what my goals were with publix and what I would do to achieve them. They ended with an immediate offer which I accepted on the spot and began working two weeks later. Overall was as easy as can be.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Publix (Saint Augustine, FL) in Oct 2014
Interview
The interview process was very straightforward. The manager was very upfront about the job responsibilities and expectations. At the beginning he did the typical rapport building. He asked me some questions about my future plans. I asked him some questions regarding flexibility and questions specific to the floral department. I was offered the job at the end of the interview.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Publix (Naples, FL) in Oct 2012
Interview
Several days after submitting my application to their on-site application center I received a call and was asked if I was still interested in working for Publix to which I said yes. They gave me an appointment date and time to which I followed. The interview itself seemed rather informal and seemed more like the assistant store manager just wanted to get to know me more. If you're selected after the interview you have to do a mandatory drug test before getting a class on the company followed by your job training a couple of days after.
