I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Publix (Orlando, FL) in Jan 2015
Interview
Applied in store and asked to speak to the store manager. The gentleman was fairly nice and shook my hand but told me they weren't hiring. I came back a few day later and spoke to the customer service manager and she took my name down and called me for an interview 3 days later.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Publix (Nashville, TN) in Jun 2014
Interview
The interviewer was very relaxed. He made a point to tell me that I need not be nervous. After standard questions, became more of a relaxed conversation rather than a formal interview. We actually ended up talking about hobbies that we had in common at the end.
Easy. regular interview questions. Very low key. Asked about work history, ect. One on one with DM. Wanted to know about previous jobs, why you think public will be different, ect. Public is doing a lot of MTM and things like that and wanted to know if you think thats good.
