I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Publix
Interview
Zero issues or complaints, which took between 30-45 minutes yet it was hardly a scrutinizing experience. Don't pierce the recruiters eyes with some weird 1000 yard stare and use your hands to describe unloading and loading a trailer - they will watch you very carefully.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They will ask you a curveball question about forklifts...but not one I will not mention here. I'd expect my coworkers to answer such questions if they were actually OSHA certified and understood what they were doing with any given forklift, no matter brand they were using.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Publix (Jacksonville, FL) in Sep 2022
Interview
Nice managers asked pretty simple questions getting to know you. I sat in a room with one manager and answered a few questions about myself. It took about 10-15 minutes.
