I applied through other source. I interviewed at RBC (Mississauga, ON) in Dec 2025
Interview
I got a recommendation to a role that I'd already done at RBC, but for a pillar. Over chat I asked the hiring manager (who I knew and knew my work) if there was any flexibility in the work from office component, as it would be a close to 2 hour commute for me, and it was a 1 year mat leave coverage.
I was told that it would depend on the candidate. So, I didn't bother putting myself forward. I wasn't going to waste my time.
I don’t think the interview process was very effective. The hiring manager appeared to lack sufficient hiring experience, and the questions asked did not seem well aligned with evaluating the best candidates for the role.
