When i applied for the position online, my resume was never picked up by HR. Only when someone recommended for the position did they ever decide to interview me. The interview process was extensive. I think i met with about 12 people; some employees, some consultants, and some external agencies that they currently worked with. It seemed like this position and hire was a bit of a political decision so they wanted to make sure that everyone had a change to weigh in. The whole process to about 2-3 months.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RBC
Interview
Process begins with a phone interview, then progresses to a day-long interview in Toronto. I didn't make it past the phone interview, though, so that's all I can speak about. Contained both behavioral questions and questions about the economy, the investing environment, picking a stock, etc. Interview lasted about 1 hour.
