Hiring manager reached out, did an initial HR screen, met with the hiring manager, then a technical interview following a programming assessment. Then I waited for ages and was only formally rejected after I followed up, having received an offer elsewhere.

Question 1
They asked about my programming skills, especially around R and various packages they like to use (tidyr is the one I remember). Also questions around unit testing. Most of the panel was friendly, one was extremely condescending.
