I was called by the manager and we had a brief discussion of what the role would consist of and what would be expected. There weren't very many technical questions in the interview. Overall it was great.
Very Good and drawn out and interviews with a number of people which included the direct manager and peers on the contract. Would recommend to anybody that is applying to SAIC.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SAIC (Austin, TX) in Jul 2020
Interview
The interview was a one-on-one with a person who did not represent any team member on the project that I would have worked on. The interviewer seemed to have the intention of conducting a technical interview but the questions were so far below the technical standard of the published job description that I wondered whether the interviewer didn't care about the candidate's technical aptitude or whether the interviewer was technically inept. There were no follow-on interviews. The company appeared to have made the job offer completely dependent upon the interviewer's recommendation. The entire interview took about 25 minutes (including the additional discussion of my career goals and military background).
