Ghosted by the "Family Company"
After applying online, a recruiter reached out to me asking for my availability for an introduction call. I promptly responded but I did not get a response until a week later when the recruiter told me that the position had been filled.
A month later the recruiter reaches out again the position was unexpectedly available again. We finally had our introductory call and I was told that the hiring manager was on vacation so there would be some time between steps.
About two weeks later, the recruiter told me that I was moving on to meet with the hiring manager and, once again, asked for my availability.
I have not heard back and I have followed up multiple times.
