I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Hyderabad) in Mar 2020
Interview
The interview process was very smooth and transparent. I was updated after every round and even during the Covid-19 crisis, they kept moving really fast. I would say prepare well if you are interested to be employed by SFDC, the interview process is more of an aggressive discussion on what you know and what you have actually done! They will know it with first few basic questions, interviewers were highly skilled in the process of interviewing - Initial screening by recruiter, followed by 4 rounds - Sr. Manager, Director(s) and Sr. Directors and lastly HR and negotiation. Each interview lasts for ~1hr and at the end, there is a de-brief between panels before they finalise a candidate. This took slightly longer for me since I was told I am up against many other candidates. Negotiation was pretty fast for me and offer released right after.
My advice to anyone applying would be to be absolutely thorough on their product and the role you are applying for.
