I went through a telephone interview for a project manager position at Schneider Electric. The recruiter called me an we had a good chat about my qualifications versus the requirements of the position. He was patient enough to listen to me talking about how my previous accomplishments could help me make immediate contributions to the company. Every thing went very well and I really felts quite comfortable.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Schneider Electric
Interview
Applied via an consultant. Interview process primarily consisted of two rounds. One with the 'hiring' manager in Hong Kong and other with HR in France. Till here it was good, after which it was downhill once the India HR got involved. The HR made an extremely low offer and then started negotiating by increasing in small amounts which totally put me off. The consultant tried to convince me by saying the HR was not sure if you would leave your current job. And that was end of it. I never expected this from Schneider.
