Glassdoor users rated their interview experience at Sun Life as 100% positive with a difficulty rating score of 3 out of 5 (where 5 is the highest level of difficulty). Candidates interviewing for Automation Specialist and rated their interviews as the hardest, whereas interviews for Automation Specialist and roles were rated as the easiest.
The process was longer and more difficult than expected for the role. Some interviewers came across as dismissive and not very respectful, which left a poor impression. The technical questions were reasonable in difficulty, but the overall tone of the interviews felt unfriendly.
Screening with HR over the phone. Virtual interview with director and then a virtual interview with their boss. The process moved along quickly but didn’t appreciate having my first HR interview on New Year’s Eve
Process is fast and straight forward, but the hiring managers usually missed mentioning the part of how the pre-contract system works and you might not be eligible for the role if you don't sell a certain amount worth of product during the period.
