1 meeting with HR. Told them my salary expectations. I was told, "we can be competitive with that." 1 interview with hiring manager 6 weeks later HR calls to prepare an offer. Ask my salary expectations and again says, "we can be competitive with that." 1 week later they offer 15-20% lower than my ask and less than I make now. They declined to offer anything more. Big waste of everybody's time.

Use personality tests in screening. Junk science . Lazy and disinterested process. If the selection process can’t put in the effort, it’s hard to believe they are any more engaging in the rest of the organization
