Interview
I canvased several bank locations and asked for the branch manager. I asked for advice about how a recent graduate could get his foot in the door, what their personal experience with TD has been like, and how TD differs from other banks.
One manager said there may be an opportunity at another branch if I called him in a week or so. I followed up and he forwarded me to the manager at that branch. Then we met for a brief interview to talk about myself and what my strengths were. This was followed up by another hour interview which basically signed me up for another interview if a job opened up. Here I was asked a lot of broad questions and was put on the spot. After a week or so I was called and given a conditional offer (having to work for a year).
Afterwards there was an additional meeting to sign papers, then a three day paid training session.
