I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Vancouver, BC) in Mar 2022
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and we set up an interview. She did not show up for the interview, so I called her after 20 minutes of waiting and she didn't apologize. She conducted the interview, and told me I would be a great fit and she said I would hear back from her within the week to set up and interview with a branch manager. There was no follow up for two weeks. Then, another recruiter reached out to me, apologizing as she said she was supposed to reach out to me two weeks early but forgot... I was confused why I was being passed on from one recruiter to the next when I was told I would be speaking to a branch manager. This second recruiter also told me she would be setting up and interview with a branch manager, and it has been 3 weeks since this conversation. I followed up twice but was ghosted. Honestly I am shocked that a reputable bank like TD has such a bad recruitment team and process.
Fairly standard questions. Most are google'able and they will test your sales skils. Prepare ahead and have your potential scenarios for questions in mind. Also goes without saying but being a client facing role, attitude and energy always goes a long way.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TD (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2019
Interview
Straight forward questions are asked . Ie why are you looking to leave and scenario based questions. The hiring manager that interviewed me made the interview process light and not too serious. They really want to see someone who is eager to learn.
