I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TD (New York, NY) in Sep 2009
Interview
Rigorous interview process with people at all levels. Questions ranging from tell me about yourself to specifics on the economy. Solid associate program. The company invests in your development. Interviewed by different levels VPs MDs from various groups.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Falmouth, ME) in Aug 2010
Interview
Submitted Resume through Monster Website and got a call back about one month later. No phone screen, just asked to come in for face to face interview. One week after interview, was given job offer. HR process of answering questions and filling out paperwork was pretty smooth. TD bank also has a mandatory one day orientation, which actually took place at the location I was working. Orientation is pretty silly, though there is compensation for attending as well as a free lunch.

Question 1
What was a situation where you had to work with someone you disliked, and how did you handle that experience?
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TD
Interview
I canvased several bank locations and asked for the branch manager. I asked for advice about how a recent graduate could get his foot in the door, what their personal experience with TD has been like, and how TD differs from other banks.
One manager said there may be an opportunity at another branch if I called him in a week or so. I followed up and he forwarded me to the manager at that branch. Then we met for a brief interview to talk about myself and what my strengths were. This was followed up by another hour interview which basically signed me up for another interview if a job opened up. Here I was asked a lot of broad questions and was put on the spot. After a week or so I was called and given a conditional offer (having to work for a year).
Afterwards there was an additional meeting to sign papers, then a three day paid training session.
