Interview run by a team of young and clueless staff .
Did not introduce themselves and role
group exercises rules were read from script not explained - interviewers could not agree on the terms and objectives
rules of exercise where changed during interview
when asked the indicators of success for group exercise, they were clearly unaware/incapable/unwilling
the integrity of the process was not maintained as the rules were changed and the second group had more time to prepare
I am a social psychologist (PHD) by training and looked at the exercise (applied) to observe the behavior of the recruitment team. They were clearly out of their league as they were asked to hire people who would perform a task that was beyond their capacity and grade (above them).
